This wine will take you and pound you to the ground with serious pepper and tannins, the perfect amount of dryness from this bity unfiltered shiraz. Don't get me wrong. Its not bad at all but definitely for a seasoned wine drinker. Be sure to bring your toothpaste as its going to give you tar-teeth and a joker smile!
By the way the zenato pinot grigio is okay this year but not as much as the older juice...

Serenity Vineyards...
Just got a visit from David Willey and Dennis Stroud. They formed a company called Plata Wine Partners. They own Serenity Vineyards and produce wines for Silver Oak, Castle Rock and other folks down in Napa, Sonoma and Alexander Valley. Their wines are outstanding and I think we are going to carry them. Although it is kind of pricey, they have an outstanding Cab, Carneros and Central Coast Chard and Syrah. Good guys making good wines that need a boost in business. Oh yeah, and they produce them in bordeaux heavy bottles and use only the finest corks from Italy. Talk about quality control...

First Blog Ever...
I decided as the CEO and Founder of Personal Wine, I'm going to post frequent blogs about wines that I am tasting, events that are happening and I definitely want to hear from those of you who visit wineries and find exceptional taste and values...
Well to give you a 30 second bio. I started a company called Personalwine.com Inc. in 2001 with my friend Aaron Bulkley. He sold the company to me and then I formed Pervino Inc. which now owns Personal Wine. We're one of the first companies that do personalized wines on a mass scale and we're getting pretty big, pretty fast. We plan on launching several other high end wine sites in the near future and I will definitely keep you all posted on things...
On a personal level, I play the guitar and I stick to Blues and Blues Rock. I love food and wine and I love to travel. Any great ideas are welcome!!!
