Personal Wine Mother's Day... Don't End Up in the Dog House!

Mother's Day comes upon us this May 10th! Here's a nice Mother's Day personalized wine story that literally brought a ton of joy to my heart. This is the story about Melissa and Johnny. Johnny's mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease a few years ago. Melissa (Johnny's wife) called me to place an order for Johnny's Mother's Day gift. Because time was of the essence our team of label designers created a nice custom label featuring a vintage 40's picture of Johnny's mom and dad at their engagement party. Johnny knew his mom was not suppose to drink wine due to her condition. Mother's Day came, and Johnny and Melissa took the bottle over to the care facility to give to Johnny's mother. Upon receiving the gift Johnny's mom took a glance at the bottle and things popped into place for Elizabeth (Johnny's Mom). She immediately started to talk about her wedding day and those who attended as if the event was taking place before her eyes.
